Why psychological safety matters here

A leader’s nervous-system state shapes the team’s. When leaders are depleted, psychological safety contracts, people stop speaking up, raise concerns later, and decisions get worse. This workshop treats psychological safety as a leadership skill, not an HR concept: how to build it deliberately, notice when it’s breaking down, and repair it without drama.

The full-day version goes deeper: a focused session on the nervous-system mechanisms behind safety and threat, followed by extended practice on building and repairing safety in your team.

Not another “just be more resilient” workshop

Individual resilience training has modest effects on its own. Organisational factors are stronger predictors of burnout than mindset (West et al., 2016). Leaders need both, personal tools that work, and the language to spot when the issue is structural, not personal.
